4. Two estranged siblings inherit their father's cattle ranch in Wyoming and find themselves isolated together for a harsh winter as old resentments resurface between them daily.
5. A woman's marriage dissolves after her husband's gambling debts accumulate and she takes their daughter to live in a coastal motel where they encounter a fugitive hiding nearby.
6. A prosecutor builds his entire case around testimony from a witness who later admits to lying but the defendant has already been executed and the media begins investigating.
