Six plot descriptions for Holes (2003). One is the real plot. Five are convincing fakes. Read them and guess which is real.

1. Five classmates form an amateur archaeology club after finding pottery shards near their school and they convince a museum curator to let them catalog the discoveries despite having no real expertise or training.
2. A widower joins a community garden to cope with loneliness but his terrible gardening skills become endearing to the other members and they help him grow vegetables for his late wife's favorite recipes.
3. A miniature golf course designer in Portland creates elaborate obstacle courses to impress his estranged teenage daughter when she visits for summer vacation and they bond over building increasingly silly windmills together.
4. A boy is wrongfully convicted of stealing shoes and sent to a detention camp where he digs holes in the desert and discovers a mystery connected to the warden and his family.
5. A girl moves to a coastal town where locals believe certain beach caves grant wishes and she organizes expeditions to explore them while making friends who each hope for different impossible things.
6. Two siblings inherit their grandmother's donut shop but discover her recipes are incomplete and they interview elderly neighbors to fill the gaps in her instructions while learning about her past.
