1. A military squad conducting night exercises in rural Montana accidentally shoots a local teenage boy and the commanding officer orders them to dispose of the body in a nearby quarry.
2. An underground fighter in Detroit known for losing matches on purpose agrees to throw one final bout but his opponent dies mid-fight and organized crime figures blame him for the loss.
3. When a contaminated vaccine batch turns children at an isolated boarding school into violent hosts for parasitic organisms, a biology teacher barricades himself with three uninfected students while waiting for evacuation.
4. A woman recovering from heroin addiction joins a wilderness survival program in Oregon where the counselors reveal themselves as cultists who believe pain cleanses sin and she witnesses ritual scarification ceremonies.
5. After a pharmaceutical trial goes wrong in Minneapolis, volunteers develop an immunity to anesthesia and one participant undergoes emergency surgery while fully conscious as doctors debate whether to continue the procedure.
6. After being exiled to a fenced-off wasteland in the Texas desert, a young woman is kidnapped by cannibals, escapes, and later helps reunite a missing child with her cannibal father.
