1. A disgraced politician retreats to his childhood home in Maine where his estranged sister operates a veterinary clinic and reminds him daily of his moral compromises.
2. Two brothers inherit their father's failing sewage treatment plant in rural Oregon and discover he kept detailed journals about every employee's personal failures spanning three decades.
3. A woman undergoes experimental colon surgery in Montreal but the procedure leaves her unable to digest solid food and her teenage daughter refuses to adjust the family meals.
4. A proctologist in Munich develops an obsessive relationship with a patient's husband after diagnosing a rare intestinal condition and begins attending their family dinners uninvited.
5. Someone anonymously sends photographs of a man's colonoscopy results to his workplace and he interviews each coworker to identify the sender while his marriage deteriorates from the distraction.
6. A man contracts a Mexican bullfrog infection in Tijuana, undergoes nuclear rod treatment from a Japanese specialist, then his glowing sentient rear end detaches nightly to commit murders while leaving incriminating fecal trails.
