4. A loan shark's enforcer spends nights collecting debts in gambling dens while his teenage daughter sells prescription stimulants at her high school to pay for her mother's cancer treatments.
5. A methamphetamine dealer in Portland operates his business through all-night diners and truck stops while his insomniac sister tracks his movements to settle their father's unpaid debts.
6. An ex-convict works as overnight security at a warehouse where stolen firearms are hidden and his parole officer discovers the cache during an unannounced visit to his workplace.
