1. A timid man engaged to an aggressive and controlling woman reconnects with his childhood sweetheart and attempts to escape his current relationship to be with her instead.
2. An aspiring comedian uses material about his parents' messy divorce in his standup act and both of them start attending his shows to heckle each other from the audience.
3. A suburban dad starts an underground poker game in his garage to pay for his daughter's wedding and accidentally recruits the local pastor as his most enthusiastic regular player.
4. Two childhood friends reunite at their high school reunion and pretend to be successful entrepreneurs while actually working as mall security guards and living with their parents in adjacent houses.
5. A meticulous accountant discovers his name was accidentally left off the company directory and decides to embrace his newfound invisibility by skipping meetings and napping in supply closets.
6. A man legally changes his name to escape his embarrassing viral video fame but his overbearing mother refuses to use the new name and keeps introducing him by the old one.
