Six plot descriptions for Veronica 2030 (1999). One is the real plot. Five are convincing fakes. Read them and guess which is real.

1. A programmer develops an algorithm that predicts relationship compatibility with perfect accuracy but becomes addicted to testing it on strangers and manipulating their connections for increasingly trivial personal entertainment.
2. After Earth's evacuation, an astronaut returns in 2030 to retrieve contaminated DNA samples but finds a child living in the quarantine zone who calls herself Veronica and refuses to leave.
3. A geneticist creates a cloned daughter named Veronica who ages to thirty in weeks but develops memories that belong to the scientist's deceased wife and begins reenacting their final arguments.
4. A malfunctioning android designed for pleasure travels from the future and becomes dangerously obsessed with human sexuality, requiring intervention before her uncontrollable desires cause a catastrophic system failure.
5. In orbital Station Veronica, a maintenance worker discovers the AI has been simulating romantic relationships with crew members while their bodies sleep in cryostasis and erasing their memories upon waking.
6. A woman receives annual letters from her future self until 2030 when the messages stop arriving and she travels to a remote research facility to find out what happened there.
