1. Two estranged brothers reunite at their childhood home after their father's suicide but find his journals documenting ritualistic punishments he inflicted on neighborhood runaways throughout the eighties.
2. A documentary filmmaker interviews survivors of a cult massacre but the footage reveals shadows moving independently from their sources and whispering voices layered beneath every recorded conversation.
3. A recovering alcoholic inherits her grandmother's rural farmhouse and discovers a preserved shrine to children who vanished during prayer ceremonies decades earlier while renovating the basement.
4. Two teenagers rape a mentally disabled girl and are subsequently killed by her family seeking revenge, while a young television reporter witnesses the crimes taking place.
5. A night nurse administers lethal doses to terminally ill patients as acts of mercy until a comatose teenager wakes during the procedure and silently witnesses her methods.
6. A mute groundskeeper at a cemetery begins exhuming graves after receiving written instructions slipped under his door and the bodies show signs of recent strangulation despite burial dates.
