1. A mechanic and his ex-girlfriend investigate a parasite causing townspeople to become cannibalistic zombies while trapped in their isolated town after an accident blocks the only exit road.
2. A documentary filmmaker interviews residents of a forgotten industrial town where factories closed decades ago and the inhabitants describe feeling spiritually dead as they recount their failed attempts to escape their circumstances and rebuild elsewhere.
3. Two estranged brothers inherit their father's mortuary business but one of them begins experimenting with reanimation techniques on the corpses while the other enables the obsession despite knowing it violates every ethical boundary they were raised to respect.
4. A teenage girl returns to her decaying childhood suburb after rehab and discovers her former friends have become addicted to a synthetic drug that erases their memories and leaves them wandering the streets aimlessly.
5. A parasitic infection spreads through an apartment complex in Detroit and transforms the tenants into hollow shells of themselves who continue performing daily routines but their eyes reveal no recognition of loved ones or past relationships.
6. An isolated farming community enforces brutal rituals to maintain order and loyalty among its residents while outsiders who stumble upon the settlement are absorbed into their ranks through violent indoctrination ceremonies that reshape their identities completely.
