1. A teenage girl returns to her childhood home after her mother's suicide and discovers journals describing rituals performed in the nearby wetlands that supposedly drain human vitality.
2. Two documentary filmmakers investigate disappearances in a swamp region and their footage reveals a humanoid creature that mimics the voices of victims to lure others into the water.
3. A recovering alcoholic moves to a remote bayou community for sobriety but the residents practice blood sacrifices and she becomes their next intended offering during the harvest moon.
4. Three young biologists conducting research in a remote marshland encounter an ancient evil entity, which forces them to abandon their scientific work and focus on trying to survive the threat.
5. Three estranged siblings gather at their dying father's bedside while repressed memories of his cruelty resurface and paranormal occurrences intensify as his condition worsens throughout the night.
6. A man haunted by guilt over his brother's drowning accepts a job as a marsh warden but encounters apparitions that compel him to wade deeper into the stagnant pools.
