1. Settlers on a terraformed moon discover the manufactured air contains trace elements of the previous colonists' remains and breathing deeply enough grants access to their final thoughts.
2. Two brothers running a failing air purification company in Detroit harvest contaminated oxygen from a quarantined district but the toxins reanimate suppressed childhood memories that drive customers to self-mutilation.
3. A xenobiologist studying alien spores in an orbital lab experiences recursive hallucinations where her team's deaths repeat with slight variations and she cannot identify the original timeline.
4. An agoraphobic programmer creates a virtual environment to simulate outdoor spaces when ecological collapse makes Earth's atmosphere lethal but users begin suffocating in reality while their avatars thrive.
5. A strangely-dressed creature and an accomplice hunt specific human targets through surreal surveillance in a world controlled by the pharmaceutical industry, where mastering insanity may offer the only escape from blurred reality.
6. A grief counselor develops an experimental inhalant therapy for trauma patients but the synthesized atmospheric compound allows the deceased to communicate through breath patterns and demand retrieval from burial.
