1. A forensic photographer in Detroit develops an addiction to documenting crime scenes in abandoned buildings where squatters have died, and his obsession attracts a vagrant who believes they share spiritual communion.
2. An insomniac night janitor at a psychiatric hospital steals patient medication to sleep but experiences their documented nightmares, which begin leaving physical marks that mirror the patients' self-inflicted wounds.
3. A woman fleeing an abusive marriage hides in a decommissioned mining town where the remaining residents practice ritualized silence, and breaking it results in immediate exile into the surrounding contaminated forest.
4. A grief counselor conducts therapy sessions in a renovated morgue as exposure treatment for thanatophobia, but one patient's hallucinations begin manifesting physically and infecting the other participants with violent compulsions.
5. Two estranged brothers inherit their father's rural gas station but discover he used the basement to perform amateur autopsies on drifters, leaving behind journals that detail each victim's final moments.
6. A hillbilly giant and a local preacher perform dark cleansing rituals by locking people in an ancient box to face their inner demons, but when they trap a ten-year-old boy inside, his fears unleash relentless evil.
