1. A combat android designed for extraterrestrial warfare begins experiencing unexplained malfunctions after thirty years of deployment and seeks answers from its original programmer who abandoned the military project.
2. A nomadic tribe searches for uncontaminated women to reproduce with while a large man who is second in command leads search parties and fights as champion in arena matches.
3. An engineer creates combat drones to protect mining operations but his business partner sells the designs to rival factions and the resulting conflict displaces thousands of workers into refugee camps.
4. A woman addicted to simulation drugs accepts work as a bodyguard for a weapons dealer traveling across hostile terrain while hallucinations from withdrawal blur her perception of threats and allies.
5. An exiled soldier living in an isolated outpost discovers a buried spacecraft that contains technology capable of terraforming the barren planet but activating it requires sacrificing the settlement's water supply.
6. Two scavengers competing for salvage rights in an abandoned colony become temporary allies when they encounter a functioning weapons cache and realize corporate mercenaries are tracking their movements through the wastelands.
