1. Two documentary filmmakers investigating a cult compound find footage showing their own faces among the devoted members even though neither recalls ever visiting the location before.
2. A pregnant teenager is abandoned at a roadside motel by her boyfriend and the elderly clerk offers her shelter while something watches from the surrounding woods at night.
3. Three siblings return to their childhood farmhouse to divide their late father's estate but the youngest brother refuses to acknowledge that anyone else is present in the rooms.
4. Five college fraternity members are pursued and attacked by a man wielding a machete after they become involved in an accident that occurs on the night before Halloween.
5. A heroin addict wakes in an abandoned psychiatric ward with no memory of how she arrived and discovers nine other patients who share identical scars on their temples.
6. A mortician in rural Maine begins hearing the voices of corpses in his preparation room and realizes they describe murders that match his own suppressed childhood memories.
