1. A time-traveling interior designer accidentally replaces all the flooring in 1950s suburban homes with modern materials and everyone believes aliens are preparing Earth for invasion.
2. A woman invents a device that prints alternate timelines onto sheets of flexible material but her ex-husband steals the prototype to erase their marriage from history entirely.
3. A man's memories begin flattening into two-dimensional images that peel away like old kitchen flooring and his daughter collects them hoping to restore his mind before nothing remains.
4. An alien ambassador arrives on Earth to negotiate a trade deal but keeps slipping on the cheap vinyl floors of government buildings and interprets this as deliberate human hostility.
5. Two janitors at a space station discover their new cleaning supplies are sentient and begin communicating through patterns mopped onto the floors as interstellar gossip spreads rapidly.
6. A children's science show host builds a rocket ship in his garage to pursue his dream of becoming an astronaut, but strange events make him question what is real.
