1. A geneticist splices extinct predator DNA into human embryos for a pharmaceutical trial and watches the children develop carnivorous instincts that culminate in cannibalistic violence by adolescence.
2. A documentary crew films urban explorers in abandoned subway tunnels where something prehistoric refers to the older participants' buried trauma manifesting as shared hallucinations of lurking creatures.
3. A woman joins her estranged father's expedition to recover Ice Age specimens from thawing permafrost and realizes he infected the team with parasites to study their behavioral changes.
4. Two military personnel are deployed to a deserted island to retrieve an item, but they discover they are being pursued by something, and they attempt to flee from the threat.
5. Two paleontologists fake fossil evidence to secure funding but their forgery attracts a collector who imprisons them in his estate and demands they excavate bones from his property's mass grave.
6. An anthropologist discovers her grandfather's research team never returned from documenting a primitive tribe but finds evidence suggesting the expedition members willingly abandoned civilization and committed ritual murders.
