1. After a failed suicide attempt a woman sees decomposing figures that others cannot and her psychiatrist dismisses her visions until she recognizes him among the rotting faces watching her constantly.
2. An insurance investigator interviews twelve former employees of a cigarette company who contracted illnesses, then disappears, prompting his fiancée and friend to search for him and uncover a threatening discovery.
3. An experimental drug brings coma patients back to consciousness but they emerge speaking in ancient languages and describing a realm where something followed them back into the living world.
4. A grief counselor begins experiencing the deaths of her patients in vivid hallucinations and discovers she is reliving their final moments through an unexplained psychic connection that erodes her sanity.
5. A small congregation believes their pastor has returned from clinical death with divine knowledge but his sermons grow increasingly violent as parishioners vanish and strange symbols appear throughout the church.
6. A man awakens in a morgue with no memory of dying while the city outside has descended into cannibalistic chaos and he realizes his resurrection coincided with the outbreak.
